8 Tank PLC Controlled Solder Paste Thawing Machine with Dual Over-Temperature Protection

This 8 tank solder paste thawing machine restores refrigerated solder paste to a stable, printable condition on SMT production lines. Each tank runs on an independent PLC time channel, while a dual over-temperature protection system monitors heating in real time and cuts the heating circuit automatically before the paste exceeds its safe working temperature. The result is consistent viscosity, repeatable stencil printing and fewer solder defects caused by overheated or under-thawed paste.

Solder paste is a temperature-sensitive material. Once the paste is heated above its rated working temperature, the flux system starts to degrade: viscosity drops, slump increases, and solder balls and bridging appear after reflow. Manual thawing gives no such guarantee, because operators cannot watch every jar for every minute.

This machine solves the problem with two independent layers of protection. A digital temperature sensor inside each tank continuously reads the actual paste environment, and an independent thermal cut-off device works in parallel. If the temperature approaches the upper limit, the controller alarms and stops heating; if the limit is still exceeded, the hardware cut-off opens the heating circuit directly. Overheating therefore cannot continue even if the main controller fails.
